On Wed we took Sean to Saint Johns Mercy for his Ultrasound of his kidneys and found out he has stage II Bilateral hydronephrosis. Since stage IV is the worst, he has a moderate case. There is not a lot of info on this, and right now we have to wait to see the urologist next week to find out his prognosis. Our Pediatrician has started him on profalactic antibiotics indefinately. He will take 1 tsp of Amoxicillan everyday to prevent a Kidney Infection. He may need surgery to clear a blockage, but we will not know until next week. I am having a really had time looking at my perfect little boy, knowing that from the outside he is fine, but on the inside he is dealing with so much. As if this was not enough, we have to be concerned about kidney stones and with 2 bad kidneys, this is not good. The Calcium he takes to treat his Hypoparathyroidism can cause stones. I have to say that I am devistated. I wish for my childrens sake that they would just be healthy. I can not help but feel guilty for what we managed to pass on to our children. I just pray that everything will work out.

Your Baby Sean and entire family remain in our prayers. I know how hard this is, I have been there myself. You are the perfect family to receive this perfect little angel - who else would know what best to do for him? No guilt, just love, love, love!!!
