What a weekend

What a busy weekend we had. Saturday we had Becca’s Spring Festival at School. Even though though in my mind it was boring, my kids had a blast. They jumped in the inflatables, they made buttons and they played games. Becca got a kick out of her Principal, Mr. Sefrit, jumping in the inflatable. He is such a great guy, and he really cares about the students. Little Kevin had a major meltdown probably because a lot of attention was on the baby. It was the first time the teachers have seen Sean and he was the center of attention. We took the kids shopping after the festival and realized that we will NEVER do that again. They drove us crazy, and the store had samples of snacks out, and my kids think they can eat it all. It did not go over well when we limited them to one of each.

Sunday I took the kids to church with me. We went to a new church called Child of God Lutheran. The kids loved it. It was very family friendly and not that much different than the Catholic mass. After church they had lunch and an Easter Egg hunt. The kids got lots of candy and Kevin found the golden Egg. He won a stuffed bunny with a baby bunny on his back. Kevin is such a sweet brother that he made me get scissors right away to cut the little bunny from the bog bunny, so Becca had one. He named his bunny Sunny and Becca named hers princess. I have pictures that I will post in the next day or so. After Church we went to my Nephews flag football game. The kids played and had a great time while Mommy sat in a chair freezing my butt off. It was nice and sunny but very windy. Of course I had Sean in his snuggly keeping me warm. I think all in all we had a great weekend. It has been a long time since we have done family things. First I was Pregnant and then we had the baby. Becca a Kevin really missed having the special time with us.

Today Sean has a Dr’s appt. I am leaving work early to bring him. I will update everyone on the stats tomorrow. Wish us luck.
