Last night we got to experience what it is like to have a child suffer a concussion...... Little Kevin being the boy that he is, was fooling around and fell. He ended up bumping his head on the tire and rim of an SUV in the parking lot at Dierbergs. Poor little guy didn't even cry initially he was in shock I think. He is ok now, but I took him to the urgent care and they said he had a concussion and we should monitor him closely for 24 hours and see a Dr right away if he just does not seem right to us. So far he seems ok.

Yeah, Henry took a tumble off the back of the couch to the hardwood floor - had a bump on his forhead about 1 1/2" high... now he has two black eyes and looks like the kid from the movie mask (the one with Cher, not the one with Jim Carrey ;). I am sure he had a concussion, but since there is nothing to do if they are acting fine other than keep them calm and try to prevent any further injuries (ha! like that is possible!) I did not go to the hospital. Things like this drive me nuts!!
