I am very sad. Some of you may not know, but I work at a nursing home part time and recently I lost my first resident. People pass a lot, sometimes they post memorials and I look and usually it is someone that I did not know. Today I overheard other residents talking about someone who died last week. I had a gut feeling. I knew right away that it must be him. I called to check the prayer list and he had past on last week. I did not know him very long, only 3 months, but he made an impact on my life. He was such a sweet man, always sitting outside enjoying the sun. I am not sure why I felt so close to him, but I am so saddened by the news of his death.
