Great Weekend

Well we had a very nice weekend. I am exhausted. On Saturday I woke up to a dozen long stem roses and chocolate covered strawberries and a big balloon. The kids were so excited. I honestly did not think I was getting anything, but I should know better. Kevin always comes through on Valentines Day! We decided to go out to dinner with Jason and Candice and another couple to the Japanese Hibachi steakhouse. I really was not wanting to go out. We had a fight with the Midas people on Saturday morning and I was already not feeling well from a week long headache but Kevin insisted. Long story about Midas that I really do not feel like going into, but basically we had to have a new starter put in. The night we picked up the car it was not running properly but they were already closed so we called the next day. Spoke to the manager who said to come back on Saturday and he would take care of it. We did, they then tell us the new starter that they put in was bad and wanted us to pay for labor again. I flipped out (like I usually do). So today I put in a call to the Midas home office and we shall see. Never a dull moment with us. So back to my weekend fun. We went to dinner and then went back to Jason and Candice's house for a little while. It was a late night and then I had to be back up with the kids Sunday morning so I got a total of 5 hours of sleep. Yesterday we did a lot of shopping and then cleaned the house and then I collapsed. I feel like I am still dragging today. I had to have part 2 of my root canal work today. I had no idea it involved drilling and more novacain. It was a fun 2 hours. Oh and on Saturday I bought new living room furniture. I got a great deal on a new sofa and loveseat, so now I have to figure out what to do with my couch that I bought 2 months ago. LOL Craig's list??? LOL


Sean got his first hair cut on Saturday too. He had such cute curls but it got matted in the back all the time, so it was time :(
